Epic Interchangeable Core
By Andy Rainer | 01.06.14
This animated video commissioned exclusively by Rainer Security Products shows the individual components that make up the Epic Interchangeable Core and how they are assembled, including the pins, springs and caps.
This is followed by the insertion of a control key demonstrating the process of retracting the locking shoulder of the core before installing into, in this case, a Euro Profile conversion cylinder. The video highlights the simple process of core insertion and the ease to which changes can be made to the existing locking system.
The procedure is reversed for core removal and the same simple method applies across the entire Small Format Interchangeable Core range confirming it’s position as one of the most popular and cost effect forms of master key locking.
